Around 2025, the world collectively decided to murder the em dash because ‘it makes writing feel like AI’. I think this this is dumb, and even wrote an essay on it. But then I wondered if I had it backwards. What if the solution was to show the world how incredible AI and the em dash truly are?

So I created the Emulator—the first AI built and powered, em dash enhancing writing tool. Just drop in what you want to say, and the Emulator will transform it into the prose of some of literature’s greatest em dashers.
