IBM: CLoud Hero

The story of a completely blind man who runs using the power of IBM's Cloud Data.

Simon Wheatcroft, a blind runner, uses Runkeeper's mobile application to overcome his challenge to do what he loves -- to run. The Runkeeper app, using IBM Cloud Analytics, tells Simon the distance and pace of his run and using that information he creates a mental map that allows him to run independently.

Using our tech, Simon Wheatcroft taught himself how to run, on his own, both on the street and competing in marathons. It’s completely bonkers.
